Instructions for these Anki Decks
These are decks for Anki, the flashcard app. The decks use "cloze deletions" to help you learn the vocabulary in context. Each card in the deck has a sentence from the text, with a hidden word. You have to guess the word that is hidden. On the back of the card, you can see the sentence with the hidden word filled in.
How to use these in Anki:
- Download the deck from the link above.
- Open Anki.
- Create a new deck, and give it a name like "Plato Phaedrus".
- Import the TSV file you downloaded from one of the links above, and choose "Note Type = Cloze" and "Deck = Plato Phaedrus" (or whatever you named your deck).
- Click "Import" to import the deck, and you're ready to start learning!
